Gage Park Dreamer's and Advocates Rally to End Deportations

Gage Park High School Dreamer's club lead by student leaders, teacher advocates and support staff headed to Gage Park to join Back of the Yard, Kelly and Solorio High School Students and advocates. May 1, long marked as International Workers' Day in countries around the world, has become known in the United States for its marches rallying for immigrant rights.
Gage Park High School students and staff are developing policies and practices that ensure that all students regardless of status are accepted, supported and have a voice in the school. Efforts are lead by teachers Ms. Oceguera and Mr. Dunphy and Support staff Ms. Rodriguez from Gads Hill Center and Janely Alcantar.
