Gage Park High School is an open enrollment, neighborhood school with a focus on providing small class sizes with more personalized teacher instruction.  While at Gage Park, students will be exposed to a plethora of growth opportunities that will help shape students to be ready for life after graduation in June 2022. Here are some highlights:

  • Our Dual Credit courses give students the chance to earn college and high school credits simultaneously while on campus, through our partnership with Richard J. Daley College.
  • Through our partnerships with MB Financial Bank and Instituto del Progreso Latino we recently added a Nursing Assistant program, which allows students to earn a Basic Certificate as a Nurse’s Assistant (BNA) while at Gage Park.
  • Beginning Fall 2018, students will also have the option to take Allied Health course to prepare for careers in the Medical/Health field. Gage Park is one of few schools offering this program on the Southwest side of Chicago.
We have an amazing school building that boasts a 1 to 1 computer to student ratio, SMART Boards in every core classroom, Peace Room, game room, 2 gymnasiums, weight room, swimming pool, and 3 fully interactive science labs.
Lastly Gage Park has forged partnerships with 14 organizations that contribute greatly to the success of our school, such as Upward Bound, UMOJA, B.A.M., Youth Job Center, the Lynch Foundation, and BuildOn, a service learning organization that takes students abroad to places like Haiti and Senegal to build schools in needy communities over the summer.
